Duplex Filter
Duplex filter is a type of filter built into a fuel, oil or water piping system and it is used to remove large particles of dirt and debris. The duplex system usually consists of two separate filter housings. The system also contains a valve handle placed between the two assemblies to divert the flow of liquid to one filter while the other is being cleaned. On some filters, the valve will work automatically and the filter will perform a self-cleaning operation.
These types of filters are installed in pipeline systems where flow cannot be stopped. Depending upon their µm size they are capable of filtration. Filter find use in industries where impurities are mostly solids. Unlike other types of filters, it is easy to conduct maintenance on these filters.
Duplex filters are mainly used in various industries such as process industry, power industry, chemical industry, oil and gas industry, pulp and paper industry, pharmaceutical industry, metals and mining industry, water and waste management, fire fighting industry, refineries and petrochemical plants.
A duplex filter best suited for situations where operation cannot be suspended. It is ideal for line filters.

BOS – Element backwashing (cleaning) can be done by using the duplex filter change handle.
BCS – A duplex filter best suited for situations where operation cannot be suspended
BDV – The vertical piping can be changed to the horizontal piping by using optional oil pan.
BCV – The BCV can switch to left, right or both sided operation using a handle and when the Seals are modified the it can also be used as a fuel oil filter.
COS-H – Welded design and element can be replaced without stopping operations.
